Online Marketing Experiment

Marketing Developments.

Internet Marketing Online No Comments »

As always I will to start out with the Roadmap. The reason I do that is because the Roadmap is really important. Effectively the Roadmap keeps me on track. It tells me what is going on in relation to achieving each objective for the month of May.

So here is what has taken place over the last few days. The press release has been held up again due to the fact that HTML coding is not allowed in the body of the press release.

However they do offer other formating which we are working on. I’m just working out the details with their support. The reason why this is so important is due to the fact that we need to track the links coming back to a specific landing page.

This will help identify that the traffic is coming from that press release. In addition we will be in a position to see what that traffic does once on the site.

As mentioned marketing can be challenging and the objective is to understand each step we take and know what results are achieved from those steps.

As always I start each day with content creation. That begins with blog posting and writing articles. As mentioned I will outsource X amount of articles in this case 40 articles for the month of May. I reduced the number because I want to focus on conversion and then once we get that right we can ramp up the traffic to the test site.

I’m writing one article a day for this specific niche. In addition I then take the content from the Blog Post and write 2 other posts and submit them to other blogs linking back from different IP blocks.

I am also using a free tool to find blogs and post back to the test site. As mentioned when results come in I will supply those results to those of you on the list.

I am just dealing with one forum at present. But there has been some breakthroughs which have been very interesting. That I will go into in another post.

As for the HTML site I will do 2 more videos to explain what’s going on with that. I will go over the positives and negatives of that site.

Video syndication is proving to be challenging at this point because the software is having configuration file problems. So I’m still trying to resolve that. I have made them aware that I want to test the software and get results back by the end of May.

In addition I’ve done more follow up e-mail videos and also created a video for a landing page for our own mini report. The goal as always is to test the viability of this technique and to test selling our own product in this niche. Thats we are starting with a mini report so as not to devote too much resources while testing.

On another post I will show you how I integrated pictures into an open office Power Point presentation.

I will also discuss more in relation to blog posting on another post.

I will also begin to cover Cickbank.

See you on the next post

Best Wishes
Paul
