What does marketing mean? In my humble judgment it is very important to understand words, this way you can be clear in your communication and furthermore understand what is involved so that you can do the job correctly.
Often times I can be guilty of miscommunication due to not understanding the meaning and as a result of which I create problems due to the fact that I am not clear about what I mean to convey.
It’s kind of funny but when you think of it, if you are confused you will inevitably confuse others.
When this occurs your message will be lost in translation.

Seen from a systems point of view, sales process engineering views marketing as a set of processes that are interconnected and interdependent with other functions[2], whose methods can be improved using a variety of relatively new approaches.
Marketing is influenced by many of the social sciences, particularly psychology, sociology, and economics. Anthropology and neuroscience are also small but growing influences. Market research underpins these activities.
Through advertising, it is also related to many of the creative arts. The marketing literature is also infamous for re-inventing itself and its vocabulary according to the times and the culture.
