Basically on this post I am going to give you a rundown on what I do each day to market and develop the sites I am creating.
The first thing I start with is a “Roadmap”.
The Roadmap effectively consists of target goals for any given month. As those goals are accomplished I can see my progress each day.
This is a marketing management tool I use to keep me on track.
This way I am focused on each task that I need to achieve and it also ensures that I take action and execute each objective.
Action is critical because action brings opportunity.
As mentioned on this blog many times, the goal is to understand each step you take. In order to understand the steps taken you need to know or more importantly you need to measure the results achieved.
Understanding is not a conclusive way of thinking. On a day to day basis challenges arise, and one has to meet those challenges and resolve them. Life is not standing still, it is constantly moving and evolving, hence why you need to take action or you will be left behind.
These challenges may knock you off track. Certain results that you achieve may not be what you thought they should be, however all these challenges and failures are merely an indication or a checkpoint that enable you to see what is going wrong and get it right.
Consequently your objective as always is to stay focused on the destination . Put that destination in front of you each day and realize that problems are opportunities to understand what is going wrong and once you know what does not work you can quickly move to what does.
The key to all this is to manage your marketing tasks so as to effectively organize your time and get results.
